The 2.35:1 CineTheatre Experience
Not all home theatre experiences are equal. Over the last few years we've all heard a lot about widescreen, and a lot of people have upgraded from their old CRT TV to a new widescreen flat panel.
But have you noticed that when you watch a movie there are still
black bars on your screen?

That’s because even though it's called ‘widescreen’ there is an even wider screen format out there – enter Cinemascope, 2.35:1, Scope or as we like to call it CineTheatre.

Let’s look at what an anamorphic lens and CineTheatre screen can do for your home cinema.

This is how a 16:9 screen looks with a Hollywood 2.35:1 movie on it:

You can still enjoy 16:9 content with no trade offs, as your screen is the same height and size as it was previously. All that’s happening is that you are watching your movies using more of your projector’s resolution, all of the brightness and at a size which really is home cinema. And no black bars.To really finish off the experience, add side masking and possibly even LP Morgan Club Lounge motorised recliners

Unreal. Unbelievable. Awesome.
